St Hilda’s Nursery News – ‘Our First Week in Kittiwakes’

Welcome to Kittiwakes Nursery class at St Hilda’s School, Harpenden. It has been lovely meeting all our new pupils and their parents on our first week back.
Together we have learnt new routines, new songs, the names of our teachers and friends and have been busy little bees enjoying all the fun and learning in our new Nursery environment.
In Busy Fingers we have worked hard on our fine motor skills to increase the strength in our fingers, and in outside Chil we have worked to improve our gross motor skills by scooting, climbing, jumping, and balancing.
We have enjoyed some lovely music sessions with our teachers learning to explore sound through new songs and we have enjoyed some of our favourite stories.
It has been an action-packed, fun-filled first week settling in and we are all very tired. We look forward to seeing everyone next week for more Nursery fun and learning.
