14th March 25

Last Friday our U10 A squad went to Akeley Wood Junior School, near Milton Keynes, to play against 7 other ISA schools in a 5 aside Netball Festival.  It was a lovely sunny day and the girls rose to the occasion.  They played very well as a squad, taking turns to rotate and play in different positions, remaining competitive throughout.  We played 7 games and won 6, drew 1.  The girls should be very proud of their performance and standard of play.

On Wednesday our U11 teams went to Crabtree to play in their League game.  Our B team won 7-2, with some good defending and quick passing to allow our shooters to score.  Our A team also won 7-2, and played well together despite a couple of injuries on court.

Yesterday our U11 A team travelled to King’s High School, Warwick, to play in the National Netball Finals.  Despite our best efforts on the day, the results didn’t go our way.  However, the girls finished with two wins in their final rounds, and should be very proud of their achievement in qualifying for the Nationals.
